Epoxy Flooring for Garages, Basements, and Commercial Spaces
A bare concrete floor stains, dusts, and cracks. A professionally installed epoxy floor is seamless, easy to clean, and built to take abuse. Flake, solid-color, and metallic epoxy systems for garages, basements, workshops, and commercial spaces across Ulster, Dutchess, Greene, and Columbia Counties.
Preparation
The difference between an epoxy floor that lasts and one that peels
We diamond-grind and clean the concrete for strong adhesion, repair cracks and spalls, then install the system with professional techniques and materials.
Epoxy does not fail in the middle of a floor. It fails at the edges and over a crack that was never opened up and filled, because the coating was applied to concrete that still had a sealer, a curing compound or laitance on it. Grinding is not optional.
Floors with moisture coming up through the slab need a moisture-mitigating primer first, which we identify during the walkthrough rather than after the floor has lifted.

Three systems
Epoxy systems we install
Flake (chip) epoxy
The classic garage look; hides dirt, adds texture and slip resistance.
Solid-color epoxy
Clean, uniform, and easy to keep spotless.
Metallic epoxy
A one-of-a-kind, high-end finish for showrooms, basements, and living spaces.
Where epoxy makes sense
Garages, basements, workshops — and living spaces
Residential garages, finished and unfinished basements, workshops, mudrooms, laundry rooms, retail floors, warehouses, and commercial kitchens.
Metallic systems have moved epoxy out of the garage. Poured and worked by hand, no two floors come out the same, which is why they turn up in showrooms and finished basements as much as in industrial spaces.

What it costs
What epoxy flooring costs
Epoxy flooring is priced by square footage, system type, and how much concrete repair is needed. Typical garage ranges are in the guide.
